Hellwafashion, does seem to have a foodie theme at the moment! A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of “celebrating Friday” at the Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel.

The Friday brunch really is a Dubai institution, and at Ibn Battuta Gate they do things a bit differently. As you enter the brunch area you are welcomed with glass of bubbly as your eyes take in the feast before you.

Before being seated you are taken on a tour (yes it's really that big) of the dedicated "food rooms". First we were shown the cheese room and then.....wait for it – the dessert room!, yes indeed ladies there is an entire room dedicated to chocolate, candy and cupcakes. As you can see from the photos linked below  this was by far and away where we spent the most time!

Following the tour we were pleasantly surprised to be seated in the Italian restaurant. As you can see from the picture left sitting in the authentic atmosphere of the Italian gave us a different kind of brunch experience. It also meant we were right beside the cheese room, yay!

Once brunch has finished you don't need to leave the hotel, you can sit at the lobby bar (the day we were there it was set up for a football screening) before heading to Maroc, which weather allowing has a lovely outside seating area.
