In our first installment of our A/W10 trend report we shopped the closet, then we gave you ideas on what to buy to make sure you stay on trend come September & now in true hellwafashionista style we’re going to have some fun.

If you like to look a bit different then these trends are for you:

Red trousers: As seen at Betsey Johnson & Isabel Marant, approach with Caution (and a good figure)

Stockings & Suspenders: As showcased recently by Pixie Lott. Suspenders draw attention to your legs so make sure you have long, lean ones for your own sake.

Granny knicker shorts: You could but if you live in the Middle East I wouldn’t. Even a see through skirt over them won’t be considered conservative enough.

Different length skirts/dresses: Not the rise and fall dresses we saw last year, more long at the sides, short in the middle. Lots of designers (like Derek Lam & Philip Lim) played with length this season, uneven lengths are a great way to wear short skirts. If the skirt is short with long sides the overall effect is subtlety sexy. Cost effective too, if you take an old long dress to the tailors you can bring it up to date with the snip of a scissors.
