So this is my first attempt at this personal blogging malarkey & it feels a bit weird, I feel like calling myself “Bloggie B” or some other kind of alias, but the whole point of having my own blog within Hellwafashion.com was to try to connect on a more personal level with you my hellwafashionista’s who are responsible for making my dreams come true.

Thought I would start with addressing a reader enquiry – well actually a google search. Someone out there went to a lot of trouble trying to find out what I wore to Dubai Fashion week on April 5th so here it is! I (shock horror!) wore it out again last night, so have a look and find all the details below:

The dress in the photo is around two years old and was about 500dhs in Mango. Yup Mango, an example of investment dressing at it's very best. It's the kind of dress that will still look current in ten years time. If you look at the picture with the beading you will see that the fabric underneath is very very light, making underwear (nude colour or not) a bit of an issue. The dress is long and has covered sleeves, meaning that all things considered the outfit comes in on the right side of risque. Before I get e-mails telling me you can't buy something that is two years old, learn this lesson: High street stores often regurgitate the same looks season after season, I can bet my bottom dollar a dress similar to this one will appear in the next couple of years in Mango, what you need to do is keep an eye out for it, keep it in your closet for a year or two and wear it when everyone else has forgotten about it.

The chain is swarovski and was in the goodie bag from last years Grazia style awards (still waiting for my invitation to this years awards ehem)
