If anyone has been keeping an eye “celebs and socialistas” you’ll know that celebrities have been going crazy for houndstooth print particularly anything in houndstooth from the Salvatore Ferragamo F/W 2011-12 collection.
Due to the heat most of us in Dubai are still wearing a lot of our Summer wardrobe, so I’m sure there’s still plenty of room in our wardrobes for some key pieces for Fall. While it’s kind of lame (not to mention expensive) to base your entire wardrobe on what celebrities wear, houndstooth really is a trend you can’t go wrong with, this season. You will see from the below that celebrities are wearing the print in so many different ways, it hasn’t got boring (yet).
If you feel like your figure won’t thank you for wearing “look at me” print then add a houndstooth bag or pair of shoes to an all black outfit. If your bank balance won’t thank you for liking the trend then buy Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, at just over 4,000AED they are the cheapest way to get in on this designer look.
If you love to go all out, then wear your houndstooth dress with red shoes and a red bag.
