The big 4-0

Lots of products have been launched this year to celebrate the UAE turning the big 4-0. At first I thought I would post about the yummy cupcakes which Magnolia have made especially to celebrate the big birthday, but then I thought how much nicer it would be to actually invest in something to remind us all of the big day for years to come.

For most people fortieth birthdays are a really big deal. For most countries their fortieth birthday has been and gone a long time ago, that very fact alone should make us all stop, think and clichéd and all as it sounds reflect for a moment on what the UAE has achieved in such a short time.

Most of us owe our amazing lifestyle to the UAE and some of us owe our careers and even families to this modern desert Oasis.

Now most of us can thank the UAE for allowing us to treat ourselves to this gorgeous Sylvia Toledano handbag and feel absolutely no guilt because we can blame it on the UAE. Yay!
