If you’ve gone to the shops and come back in despair that there’s nothing that fits your lifestyle or your budget, take heart.  Fadwa Baruni has been there and done something about it. As a former engineer and graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, she realized that Dubai women had little choice when it came to functional, yet fashionable, clothing.

Her designs have redressed the balance and her range, Baruni, is based around the staple appeal of monochromes and structural dresses. She is presenting her Spring/Summer 2012 collection at a special event on Tuesday 6^th March at Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse, just in time for racing season.

As we’ve said before, Baruni is great for busy women who need to look smart in the office and blend in at fashionable events in the evening.  For racing season, Baruni takes the fear out of “I hope I don’t see someone in the bubbly tent in the same dress as me”.
